We take pride in the fact that our services add value by helping to improve business results,transparency, trust and consistency of business processes for our clients. In order to succeed, we must grow and develop, both as individuals and as a business.

The Ethics and Business Conduct policy of SandLegal espouses our belief in our core values and reiterates the process of implementing them.

  2. Comply with the Code and the law wherever you are.
  3. Use good judgment and avoid behavior in violation of the code.

If ever you have doubt over Ethics policy and code of conduct just ask yourself these

  • Is your action consistent with the Code?
  • Is your action ethical?
  • Is your action legal?
  • Will your action reflect well on you and the company?

If the answers to above questions are negative, do not do it.

Do not engage in personal activities during work hours that interfere with or prevent you from
fulfilling your job responsibilities.

  • Do not use your position in the Company for any personal advantage.
  • It is unacceptable for us to solicit, accept, offer, promise or pay bribes.
  • We offer only those services we can deliver and strive to deliver no less than our commitments.
  • We compete vigorously, engaging only in practices that are legal and ethical.
  • We meet our contractual obligations and report and charge honestly for our services.


Please don’t disclose information that the Company has not disclosed or made generally available to the public, please keep Company information confidential.
There may be certain documents or certain information about the Company that you may know, it is your duty to keep it confidential and not to share such information with anyone except as required by the Company.

Report possible violations of the code
Deliver the best results for the Company’s clients. Highlight road blocks. Find solutions. Do not make

Our employees are our main asset.We will encourage employees to excel in their field of operations and grow with the Company. Our remuneration and retention policy is only governed by performance and shall not be colored by any other consideration.

Employees shall abide by the law and Company policy on harassment at the workplace. Complaints onharassments shall be addressed to HR Head or to the directors through a hotline. The hotline numbers are displayed in the workplace and all calls will be treated as confidential.
No employee shall use, purchase, sell or otherwise distribute controlled substances in Company’s premises.

Company records and controls

Records shall be maintained by our accountants and by employees who contribute to the development of the records. The policy on disclosures of all company accounts and expenses shall be followed by us in spirit and in letter.
Each employee must understand the internal controls associated with his or her position and
comply with the same.
All employees and directors must fully comply with internal and external audits conducted since audits expose our weaknesses and help us strengthen our systems and processes.


Engaging in fraud to defeat the interests of employees, clients, Company or third parties is in violationof the policies of the Company and shall be strictly and swiftly dealt with under the law. The Company relieson internal controls and the integrity of its employees and stakeholders to protect the companyand its clients from fraud.

Conflict of Interest

SANDLEGAL expects its employees and stakeholders to act in its interest. Conflict of interest arises when an individual’s personal interest conflicts with the interests of the Company.Employees, owners and stakeholders should never compete with the business of the company or
use their position to secure personal benefit improperly in any manner whatsoever.

Protection of information and intellectual Property

SANDLEGAL’s information resources are perhaps the most vital asset of the Company. They include paper and electronic records and also systems that store, process or transmit information. They include trade secrets, copyrights, designs, patents and trademarks of the company. More so, sensitive client data maintained by the company is as sacrosanct as the Company’s information and shall, for the purpose of protection of such information, be considered as part of the Company’s information.While using the Company’s information, employees shall use the utmost discretion in utilizing, maintaining and preventing the abuse of such information. Examples of abuse of such information will include unauthorized viewing, copying, distributing and removing from premises, damaging and altering of such information.

Use of Computers, Telecommunications and internet

Employees must ensure that all internet, computer and telecommunication systems are used only for the Company’s business. Employees must not assume that the Company’s computers and telecommunication systemsare meant for private use and should always ensure that such use is for the Company’s purposes.


SANDLEGAL’S ethical and legal obligations to its employees, clients, stakeholders and society go farbeyond what is stated in this document. The best course of action sometimes would be those thatare consistent with the Company’s values and ethics. Our confidence must stem from the honesty,integrity and good conscience within each of us.
